Marine geology is one of the four fundamental courses in modern marine sciences. It is the prerequisite and the basis for further studies on marine chemistry, marine biology, marine geophysics, and so on. Marine geology studies the temporal and spatial rules on the development, variations, and distributions of the earth’s surface that was covered by seawater.
