The course of "Fundamentals of Marine Engineering" is designed to outline an introduction to ocean engineering apposite for students to broaden their horizon and develop their interest to step forward and participate in ocean engineering research. The course focuses on the core contents of multiple fields of ocean engineering that includes; modern ship building, offshore engineering, ocean equipment technology, ocean information technology and ocean science, etc. In addition, the students will also briefly study the general research methodology in the field of marine engineering, including how to search for relevant literatures and to address a presentation. So that students can fully understand the subject and shape their potential to carry out research in the field of ocean engineering.
