船舶原理课程内容的主要目的为讲授针对船舶設計與建造需要所涉及的基本专业知识,共包含三个部分:(1)船舶静力学:讲授船形的几何特性与表示方式,船舶浮性与稳性两个基本性能的物理意义与船舶设计要求的关系及两者量化评量计算的各种数值积分方法。(2)船舶阻力与推进:讲授船舶在水中航行遭遇到的阻力成因与螺旋桨的几何构形和基本理论,以及船体与螺旋桨两者间相互作用的效应与对船舶推进效率的影响。(3)船舶操纵与耐波性:讲授船舶运动操纵方程式、船舶航向稳定性、船舶对操舵的响应、船舶回转性、实船和船模操纵性试验等相关内容。
(二)英文简介。
The purpose of this lecture ‘Principles of Naval Architecture’ is to teach the fundamental knowledge to meet the requirements for conducting professional work of ship design and construction. It contains three parts:(1) ship hydrostatics, this part deals with relating problems of buoyancy and stability of ships. (2)ship resistance and propulsion, this part talks about problems concerning resistance of a ship exerted by surrounding water with viscosity and also the propulsor which creates thrust to propel a ship forward to reach a specified speed and also the interaction between the ship hull and the propeller. (3) maneuvering and seakeeping of ships, this part mainly contains maneuvering motion equations, course stability, ship response to maneuvering rudder, ship maneuverability, maneuvering tests etc..
