This course is aiming at international students. Through a series of cultural awareness classes, lectures, and practice from the aspects of cultural cognition, edification and dissemination, the course devotes to develop the “Chinese Spirit” of international students, to build a platform of “understanding China, loving ocean, and caring the world”, in order to make them know more about Chinese culture as international friends from the field of maritime who “know China, are friendly to China, and love China”. Specifically, the classes will interpret China’s “One Belt and One Road” policy and important concepts of “maritime community with a shared future”. Besides, the details of relevant rules and regulations of study and life in China will be introduced. Moreover, in order to train international students to have a correct understanding of cultural differences, there will be classes that focused on “Seeking Truth” culture of Zhejiang University, local island culture of Zhoushan, and humanistic customs of Zhejiang province. Generally, the purpose is to enhance the sense of identity and the passion of international students for Chinese culture, to strengthen the international transmission of Chinese culture, and to enhance their friendly sentiments to ZJU. Meanwhile, the course will help international students to clarify their study objectives in China, to create a better learning atmosphere, and to enable them to closely associate their personal development with diplomatic relations, so as to effectively serve China’s diplomatic cause.
本课程主要针对硕博国际生，通过一系列文化感知类课程、实践活动、讲座培训，从文化认知、熏陶、浸染方面培养国际生的“中国情怀”，为来华国际生搭建“了解中国，热爱海洋，关怀世界”的平台，使他们成为了解中国文化、“知华、友华、爱华”的海洋领域的国际友人。该课程将解读我国“一带一路”政策、“海洋命运共同体”的重要理念；详细介绍国际生在华期间的相关学习、生活规章制度；培养国际生对文化差异的正确认知，重点介绍浙江大学求是文化、地方（舟山）海岛文化、浙江省人文风俗等。旨在提升国际生对中国文化的认同感与热爱之情，加强中国文化国际传播力，增进对母校浙江大学的情谊；同时帮助国际生明确自己来华的学习目标，营造良好的学习氛围，使其将个人的发展与邦国之交密切联合起来，切实服务于我国外交事业。
