TIPS ABOUT TRANSPORTATION

By far, the Ocean College has been moved into Zhoushan, for the convenience of staff and students’ travelling between Zhoushan and Hangzhou, after negotiating with ZIZAI Touring Company of Zhoushan, we run the regular and shuttle bus for trail. Here are the details:

I. Regular Bus

1. The on and off point

   Zhoushan: Southern Gate of Zhoushan Campus

   Hangzhou: Wushan Square, Huanglong Sports Center

2. The Run Time

   Zhoushan: 6:35, 10:15, 14:10, 17:50

   Huanglong, Hangzhou: 8:10, 12:40, 13:40, 18:10

   Warm Tip: please get to the on point 10 min early. If planning to take the bus at 6:35, one should but the ticket one day earlier.  

3. Beneficiaries

   a. Full time students and formal staff

    b. Formal stuff of Zhoushan who work full-timely in Ocean College, Zhejiang University, and project stuff.

4. Ways to purchase tickets and discount

     (1) Purchase tickets in designated place

    Zhouhshan: with their campus card, students can buy half-price tickets in the minimarket in the northeastern of first floor of Canteen.

    （2）booking by Wechat (not in use now)

    In the Public Account of “ZIZAI Travelling”, students can book tickets in the part called: Shuttle bus for students and stuff of Zhejiang University (Zhoushan Campus), then students can get their tickets in the following places above.

5. Check tickets and Take bus

    With their own Campus Card and tickets, students can take the bus.

II. The Shuttle bus between Hangzhou and Zhoushan

    The Shuttle bus only runs during weekends and holidays

    1. Stops of the Shuttle Bus

    (1) Stops in Hangzhou:

    North of Lawn inside the Main Gate of Zijin’gang Campus--- Southern inside the Main Gate of Yuquan Campus--- Inside of Main Gate of Xixi Campus---Bus stop of Xianongkou Xincun in West Road of Genshan

    (2)Stops in Zhoushan

    On point: In the front of Canteen

    In the transition: Haicheng Yayuan---Northern Gate of Zhoushan Campus---Telent Apartment on Haiyu Road

    After transition: Northern Gate of Zhoushan Campus

    Zijin’gang Campus: 17:30---Yuquan Campus17:50---Xixi Campus18:00--- Bus stop of Xianongkou Xincun on West Road of Genshan 18:20

    Please wait on the point before time. The running may be influenced by the transportation condition, if it was late, please give forgiveness.

    2. Time for Shuttle Bus between Hangzhou and Zhoushan

    Zhoushan Campus: 15:30pm

    3. Ways for making reservation

    The function of ‘Making reservation by Wechat’ is not started. Please send the information of bus-takers by institutes or departments to Zhong Xiaohang’ email: xhzhong@zju.edu.cn before 4pm one day early. Information should include: name, time, on and off point. The General Affairs Department will inform ZIZAI Touring Company to arrange buses based on the numbers.

There will be instructions of “Making Reservation by Wechat”, if the function is started.

III. Other Instructions

    The university will pay the fees of Shuttle bus between Hangzhou and Zhoushan produced in weekends and holidays. Stuff who takes the regular bus can claim the fee Through Travel Expense Reimbursement Channel. The shuttle bus is only for the stuff that has made reservation.
