My study life
I’m currently in the final stage of my PhD in Marine Sciences funded by the Chinese Government Scholarship (2017-2021). I have a total of over 8 years of work experiences including full- time, part- time jobs and internship. I’m really passionate about academics, research works, data analysis, field and lab works. I have completed all the Professional courses as well as Chinese language level 1 and level 2. I have also done the Mid-term assessment and PhD Proposal defense.
My achievements
I have reviewed papers, published papers, and also attended conferences and gave oral presentation. I was rewarded for the ‘Best Oral Presentation Award’ at the Doctoral Forum (October 10th – 13th 2019) in Shanghai. Also awarded for Outstanding International Student of Ocean College, Zhejiang University. (December 20th 2019).
My campus life
I liked cooking, eating and having parties with my roommates, also the food in the school cafeteria is full of varieties and there lots of seafood. As a sport fan I enjoyed swimming, going to the gym, playing badminton ect. Actively helped in organizing and participated in various activities at ZJU (End of year party, fun day, sports day, singing competition ect).

The most impressive thing
The huge heated swimming pool, lots of sports facilities like a very big stadium, badminton court, gymnasium, very huge building to carry out experiments as well as well- maintained campus with lots of green spaces-the ideal place to study.
My hobbies
Sports, Swimming, cycling , playing badminton, table tennis, listening to music, cooking, tasting different food, visiting new places, going to the beach.
My plan after graduation
I hope to either continue with my postdoctoral research works and join academia or work in the public or private sector.
Any words or good ideas to other students
Success is simple. Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.
My feeling in school
It’s a very good place for cross- cultural communications and to witness the exchanges and integration between different cultures and different ethnic groups. It’s also a very good place study and to go further in research and to achieve our goals.
